Leadership teams and councils are prayerfully selected at First United Methodist Church so that we may operate in the will of God to follow the purposes and plans that He has for us to minister to our local body, community, and the world.

First United Methodist Church is a local church ministering to persons in the community of Laurinburg North Carolina. We are part of the North Carolina annual conference in the southeast jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church, following the Book of Discipline for rules and organization. As commissioned by the conference, we adapt its distinct ministries and missions to meet the needs, circumstances and culture of our congregation and local community.
