Traditional Service at First United Methodist, Laurinburg 
The time is 11:00 AM Sundays in our beautiful stain-glassed Sanctuary.
Our Traditional Service is a wonderful place to worship the Lord with all of the elements of traditional worship. The Methodist tradition is carried on using responsive readings, Choirs, Hymnals and Pipe Organ. Before the sermon the children enjoy a “Children’s Moment” in which the children come forward for a short object lesson. Afterward, the children are dismissed to go to their own “Children’s Church” to learn about God on their level. Pastor Kong Namkung then delivers a sermon that is thought provoking and inspirational each week for the remaining teens and adults. Dress is business casual to dressy. A nursery is offered for infants and toddlers up to 3 years old.
